PhD Topic
The focus will be on distributed architectures for sensing and computing, and the aim will be to optimize the usage of entangled resources considering the different practical limitations such as noise, storage efficiency, and heralding success probabilities. The first step is to create an analytical framework, then to make use of simulation tools like NetSquid for performance benchmarking and establishing design guidelines.
Secondments: TU Delft, Netherlands (modelling architectures); Airbus, Germany (performance optimization).
