PhD Topic
The task is to discover the problems in the present fidelity enhancing methods and to suggest the new techniques, like the entanglement purification and error correction, categorizable to the point of being resource-limited, for remote entanglement quality enhancement. The method will include analytical modeling paired with simulation using the likes of NetSquid to help understand the trade-offs happening among fidelity, resource consumption, and scalability that exist.
Secondments: University of Naples Federico II (UNINA), Italy (quality enhancement); EURECOM, France (addressing resource constraints).
