PhD Topic
The innovative quantum network applications are recognized and characterized, such as quantum conferencing, distributed sensing, and secure multi-party computation. The performance of these protocols on near-term quantum devices will be analysed in the project. The defining of functional requirements, the simulating of protocol performance with Quantum Internet Alliance tools, and the involvement of stakeholders for co-design will be the three main activities.
Secondments: University of Sarajevo (UNSA), Bosnia & Herzegovina (protocol identification); ICHEC, Ireland (performance analysis).
