Host: Trinity College Dublin (TCD), Ireland
PhD Topic
The project will focus on the modelling of quantum network functions through the use of dependency graphs, Petri-nets, and Bayesian networks. Furthermore, it will introduce random network and small-world models and employ a game-theoretical framework based on quantum mechanics for the purposes of optimizing entanglement distribution and topology design. The entire approach is characterized by interdisciplinary collaboration which combines network science, graph theory, and game theory with quantum networks.
PhD Studentship – Influence of Topology in Designing & Operation of Distributed Quantum Networks
Secondments: University of Naples Federico II (UNINA), Italy (quantum-aware routing); SURF, Netherlands (standardization).
