PhD Topic
To determine the best positioning of network nodes and the development of a comprehensive Quality of Service (QoS) model for satellite QKD networks. A QKD network simulator upgrading with a new QoS routing and signalling protocol is needed stretching the whole project network simulation along with network modelling and design to the industry partners Tim and Airbus who are involved in the project.
Secondments: Trinity College Dublin (TCD), Ireland (modelling & verification); Airbus, Germany (addressing performance limitations).
