PhD Topic
The goal is to develop algorithms for optimal resource sharing in probabilistic quantum networks. Modelling the nonlinear dynamics is part of the development process and will make use of functional graph representations for the resource allocation and distributed decision-making mechanisms inspired by cellular automata and coupled oscillators. Aiming at combining quantum information theory with the science of complex systems the PhD candidate will not only develop optimization algorithms and network models but also validate them through simulation.
Secondments: University of Naples Federico II (UNINA), Italy (complex network science); IMDEA Networks, Spain (distributed decision-making).
